Thomas Lang
Thomas Lang is WPP’s Senior Sales Account Manager at Siemens Energy (Europe) since 2016 and is responsible for providing WPP with all necessary project equipment.
He has had a distinguished 25-year history in the energy and power generation industry, most of his career with the largest companies in the sector. He has vast experience in power generation projects around the world and is now focussed on the European Market.
Prior to Siemens Thomas has worked for other prestigious companies such as GE and Alstom.
He has degrees in both Industrial Engineering (Karlsruhe Institute of Technology) and Mechanical Engineering (University of Stuttgart).
Hellenic Mediterranean University
Institute of Energy, Environment and Climate Change (IEECC) is a public research body founded in 2019 by the Hellenic Mediterranean University. It is comprised of two (2) departments, namely the Department of Energy and the Department of Environment, which aim to promote energy transition towards climate neutrality through research and development at National and European level.
IEECC is a thriving research community with an expert faculty of 35 members and 10 administrative/technical staff. The institutional mission of the IEECC is to contact contemporary research using a high-level research infrastructure to the economic, social, and cultural benefit of the Society. It strives for excellence in world-class research, achieving to retrieve more than 4 million Euros of funding, thus strengthening the role of Crete as a research pole. Its activities are in line with the objective set by the Region of Crete Authority (Regional Program of Crete) to promote the Island as a region of excellence in Research and Technological Development in the Southeastern Europe and Mediterranean area.
More precisely, the Department of Energy focuses on the following areas:
• Simulation of power systems and electricity grids with increased RES share.
• Stability assessment of weak and/or island power systems

DAPEEP
The Renewable Energy Sources Operator & Guarantees of Origin (DAPEEP SA) manages the RES and the High Efficiency Cogeneration of Electricity and Heat (CHP) of the National Interconnected System, as well as the Guarantees of Origin of electricity produced by RES and CHP. It is the auctioneer of polluting rights in Greece, while at the same time it also operates as a Cumulative Representation Body (FOSE) of RES producers.
It is the evolution of the Electricity Market Operator (LAGIE SA) and was created in order to meet the current challenges in the field of Renewable Energy Sources, while at the same time it is the largest shareholder in the Hellenic Energy Exchange (HEXE) and the second largest seller after PPC in Electricity Market operated by HEX.
DAPEEP will support ProEuropean in the H2Crete Project, as
• DAPEEP will ensure the sustainability of the existing investment, via the support scheme that will be applied (Feed-in Tariff/Feed-in Premium).
• DAPEEP will also represent the Power Generation Unit in the market of electricity.
KAPE
The Centre for Renewable Energy Sources and Saving (CRES) is the Greek organisation for
Renewable Energy Sources (RES), Rational Use of Energy (RUE) and Energy Saving (ES). CRES has
been appointed as the national co-ordination centre in its area of activity. It is a public entity, supervised
by the Ministry of Environment and Energy and has financial and administrative independence. Its main
goal is the research and promotion of RES/RUE/ES applications at a national and international level, as
well as the support of related activities, taking into consideration the principles of sustainable
development.
CRES has a scientific staff of more than 120 highly qualified and experienced multidisciplinary scientists
and engineers. Its organisational structure comprises of the following units:

- Division of Energy Policy and Planning
- Division of Development Programmes
- Division of Financial and Administrative Services

She is fluent in Greek and Bulgarian language. She graduated with a master’s degree in film and television directing from Southwestern University Bulgaria. Later, she graduated from the fourth year of Mass Media and Journalism at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki.
Rania Roditi
Rania has more than 8 years of experience in HRM and she specializes in searching and attracting high caliber junior executives. She holds a degree in the Department of Economics from National and Kapodistrian University of Athens with specialization in Banking and Finance. She has previously worked as a manager in a position of customer management and financial transactions. Over 3 years, in Pro European Trading GmbH, she coaches several employees who has been hired to be more productive in every role. She has attended seminars in human psychology and human crisis management. She is fluent in Greek and English.
