Elena Margariti
CEO
Elena Margariti is the CEO and founding partner of Proeuropean Trading GmbH, focusing on corporate strategy and hydrogen production projects in Crete, Greece, and Munich, Germany.
With 30 years of experience in corporate taxation and financial consulting, she has worked with companies in construction and tourism across Germany, Greece, Cyprus, Bulgaria, and Romania, and collaborates with public-private partnerships in construction and defense.
Elena holds a B.Sc. in Economics from LSE and an M.Sc. in Business Administration and Human Resource Management.
Aikaterini Lianoudaki
CFO
Aikaterini is the founding partner and CFO of Proeuropean Trading GmbH, managing the European Division for hydrogen infrastructure at WPP Energy GmbH, with involvement in projects in Crete and Munich.
With 16 years in banking, she specializes in SME funding and has experience in sustainable development projects at the EU level, securing funding through programs like Structured Finance and INTEREG Hellas-Cyprus.
She holds a B.Sc. in Economics from the University of Athens and an M.Sc. in Project Management from the National Technical University of Athens.

Yiannis Kourtesis is a highly accomplished PMI-certified project manager with 25 years of experience leading large-scale, complex projects across various industries.
With a strong background in executive leadership, he has successfully managed multidisciplinary teams and driven organizational growth on an international scale. His career is distinguished by the ability to navigate complex challenges, implement strategic initiatives, and deliver measurable results.
Known for his visionary approach, Yiannis has consistently achieved operational excellence and fostered collaboration among stakeholders, ensuring the successful execution of high-impact projects.
George Chatzopoulos
Commercial Director
With over 15 years of experience, George has successfully managed large-scale energy projects, led strategic business expansions, and negotiated high-value agreements with key industrial stakeholders. His expertise spans project development, commercialization, and establishing strong partnerships in the energy sector.
Fluent in German, English, and Japanese, George brings a global perspective and strategic vision to ProEuropean's mission of advancing the green hydrogen economy.
George Kazis
Chief Technology Officer
George Kazis is a seasoned chemical engineer with extensive experience across the entire energy sector, from crude oil processing and refinery operations to petroleum product trading.
His expertise spans engineering, construction coordination, contract management, and project execution.
He has held key roles such as Engineer at Greece’s leading refinery, Head of Exports & Foreign Trade for LPG, Production & Project Engineer, Technical Director, and Energy Consultant, consistently delivering impactful results.
George Koutroulias
Financial Analyst
George Koutroulias is an accomplished consultant with over 15 years of experience in M&As and Corporate Finance, specializing in sell-side advisory.
He has successfully facilitated financing for Greek businesses through Greek and European investment funds, including mezzanine growth funding, and has led fundraising rounds for early-stage and Series A projects.
In addition to his consulting expertise, George has held CFO and Controller roles for more than 15 years, demonstrating his strong financial acumen and strategic leadership.
He holds a B.Sc. in Finance and Economics from SUNY at New Paltz, NY, USA.
Francesco T. Ottieri
Chief Market Strategist
Francesco is a clean hydrogen market analyst and strategist.
He was trained in market intelligence at OMV (Vienna) and Hydrogen Europe (Brussels).
Helped by proficiency in Excel and Power BI, he applies a most rigorous scientific method to collect, analyze and present data on the hydrogen market.
Whether in the form of presentation slides, monthly reports or interactive maps, the output is always far-reaching, in-depth and reader friendly.
